Communion Visits to the Sick and Homebound

Ministers to the Sick and Elderly take Communion to the sick and elderly in their home, the hospital or local care facility. Those who participate in this ministry need a caring spirit, a means of transportation, and a willingness to undergo training.

Parishioners who wish to receive Communion in their home, hospital or local care facility, please contact the Parish Office at 503-769-2656 to make arrangements.

Hospital Ministry

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church supports the ministry of visiting the sick at Santiam Hospital. Parishioners involved in the ministry take turns visiting Catholic patients at the hospital.

We are always looking for more individuals who are willing to join the ministry. There is no experience required or need to commit right away. Those interested will shadow a current member of the ministry as they get comfortable and this will help them to decide if they are called to continue hospital ministry. Contact stewardship@immacstayton.org or call the parish office to learn more.
